Bon Accord has a proactive commitment to a green and sustainable environment. Recycling programs and other green activities are provided regularly for community residents and businesses. Town Council provides the community with regular opportunities to not only recycle to reduce the negative impact of increasing landfills, but also supports local community programs and organizations in the process.
First Reading of the Debenture Borrowing Bylaw was passed at the July 4 Regular Meeting of Council. Click Here to view this Bylaw, Bylaw #2017-06.
Council will be holding a Special Meeting of Council on July 29, 2017 at 9:00am, in Council Chambers to review and consider 2nd and 3rd readings of Borrowing Bylaw #2017-06. If passed this bylaw will allow the Town to borrow monies ($1.2 million) from Alberta Capital Finance to assist with the Water Reservoir Expansion.
