In fall 2013, the New Home Buyer Protection Act (NHBPA) came into force as part of the Government of Alberta’s ongoing commitment to improving consumer protection, recourse options and builder accountability for new homes built in Alberta.

Open air fires, or any other fire are permitted if a permit has been obtained. Any person wishing to obtain a permit must apply at the Town Office during regular business hours.

The Town of Bon Accord has a small cemetery located approximately 1 mile west of Bon Accord on the north side of Highway 28. Access to the cemetery is off of RR241. The old section has large mature trees around 3 sides and the oldest recorded burial is 1909. There are cremation plots available in the old section. The new section, is west of the old section, north of the cemetery parking lot. The new section has full burial plots and cremation plots available.
